As your mother and her grandmother I applaud you for your supreme and tireless efforts to fight the government on behalf of your baby. Can you imagine if this would have been something even more painful, for instance a spinal tap. They ought to have a time clock stamp for such tests. I think I would raise a little He-- with the hospital administrator. If I were a lab tech, it would break my heart to cause tiny ones so much pain, and I would make darn sure to document everything correctly, but to some it is just a "job". Hope has one thing in her favor-- a Mommie who would fight to the death for her no matter how big or small the problem.
My reflections on motherhood, marriage, and faith. A tribute to the daily adventures of caring after a conservative, entrepreneurial, stay-at-home family.

BORN: OCTOBER 15TH, 2007
Our family would like to extend a giant thank you to everyone who has cheered us on over the last nine months and who in good sport participated in our "Name Hope" poll. We are thrilled to be able to finally share our newest blessing in full color.
HOMESCHOOL: OUTSIDE THE BOX
We are a Christian family that follows Charlotte Mason's philosophy of education and character formation. Our family blog documents the Ambleside Online curriculum of living books and nature study with our added Montessori flair.
Please Note: The Homeschool Blog is currently being merged into this blog. Posts from years back will be added as time permits.
AT THE CORE
One God, One Lord, One Family. Eleven amazing years of marriage to one very talented and entrepreneur savvy Tom Builder, 3 homeschooled merry crumb crunchers and number four in the pressure cooker, one windfall business and another still waiting for the wind to fill its sails, and now, 12 acres of horse farm heaven waiting for our family to fix up, move in and call home.
Welcome to the wildly blessed world of The Knucker Hatches. Where two middle aged candles are always burning at both ends, and the projects never get finished...but everybody is thankful to be home.
